Hi, I’m Layne McDougal the owner of Dream Drives BHM. In February 2021 while searching for a getaway car for my son’s wedding, I learned Rob Conrad was selling his getaway car named Ruby. With the support of my husband, Prince, I purchased Ruby, a 1951 Packard 250 convertible and incorporated Dream Drives BHM. That is how my wedding and chauffeured transportation business adventure began!

Last February we grew when Dream Drives purchased a 1942 Packard Clipper in Connecticut. We named her Audrey because she is as lovely as her namesake, Audrey Hepburn. Then in August of 2022, Dream Drives purchased a third automobile in Wisconsin. It’s a 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud! I always wanted to name a daughter Catherine, but God only blessed us with boys. So, hence her name!

All three of these automobiles are special to Dream Drives, as well as, to my family personally. We love these cars and are proud of them; we give them the respect they deserve because they are from a golden age in automotive history. We feel an obligation to maintain them, keep them true to their original design and color and drive them with utmost care. We love having the opportunity to share these beautiful vehicles from a by-gone era with others, hear stories people share of their memories of older cars and days long ago. We also believe it’s an honor and privilege to drive newlyweds away from their wedding reception to begin their lives together!
